Who We Are

Thompson Construction NW is a home remodeling contractor serving the Greater Seattle area. Our website address is https://tc-nw.com. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website or contact us through our online form.

Information We Collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect the following information:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Street address and ZIP code, so we can confirm you are in our service area
  • City (optional)
  • Service interest
  • Project timeline (optional)
  • Message

If you only browse the site, we do not collect your name or contact details. We do collect usage data through the analytics and tracking services described below.

How We Use Your Information

Information submitted through our contact form is used to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Provide project estimates or quotes
  • Communicate about services you've expressed interest in
  • Keep a record of our conversations with you while we work together

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where Your Information Is Stored

Contact form submissions are saved on our website and in HubSpot, the customer relationship management (CRM) system we use to keep track of inquiries and projects. HubSpot stores this information on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. You can read HubSpot's privacy policy for details on how they protect data.

Spam Protection

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam submissions. Turnstile may collect limited technical data (such as browser type and interaction data) to verify that submissions come from real visitors. This data is processed by Cloudflare in accordance with their privacy policy.

Analytics and Tracking

We use the following services to understand how visitors find and use our website:

  • Google Analytics collects usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and general geographic location. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Google Ads conversion tracking tells us when a visit that started from one of our ads leads to a contact form submission, so we know which advertising is worth paying for.
  • HubSpot tracking records which pages you visit on our site. If you later submit the contact form, that browsing history is attached to your inquiry so we can see what you were interested in before you reached out.

These services receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. They are governed by Google's privacy policy and HubSpot's privacy policy.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for two purposes. Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics and tracking cookies, set by Google and HubSpot, let the services above recognize a returning browser and measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but the tracking described above will not.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are kept on our website and in HubSpot for as long as we need them to respond to inquiries, complete project work, and maintain our business records. If you would like your information removed, contact us using the information below and we will delete it unless we are required to keep it.

Your Rights

You may request to view, correct, or delete any personal information we hold about you. To make such a request, please contact us using the information below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
